James Hyde

James co-founded The Three Inch Fools with his brother Stephen, and over the last five years he has both produced and directed shows with The Fools. The last time he trod the boards with the troupe was all the way back in 2016 when he played Lady Macbeth and a witch. James spends much of his time as producer dreaming up exciting new places to perform and putting together big Shakespearean adventures - perhaps Shakespeare on top of a mountain will come to fruition some day soon! James is a Durham University graduate where he studied music. He loves Debussy, The Beatles and of course Shakespeare, and would gladly combine any of these three in some kind of wild theatrical mash-up. This year has been an extremely challenging year for The Three Inch Fools, as it has been for so many. A huge thank you to our incredible friends and supporters and to all of you who come to see our shows. It’s thanks to you that we are able to get back up on stage once again.
